...April 22nd...
Here's some news from Infernal Poetry. Four new songs have been recorded and once they are mixed, Hardebaran will use them to find the band a new record deal. If nothing interesting is offered, a new MCD will be released in September. We are now less than one month away from the famous Gods Of Metal festival, but we won't wait that long to announce that Infernal Poetry will be on the bill ! Read all about the bands that will be playing at this festival at http://www.godsofmetal.it. Also interesting to know is that the band trimmed their website with (among other things) a live fragment that was recorded during their February tour with Dismember. Moreover, the band created their own myspace page, which you can visit at http://www.myspace.com/infernalpoetry.

We are proud to announce three new productions from Limited Access Records due in May. The first production is by Te-Deum and was named " Rearranged ". The band serves fresh and intoxicating music that is brutal and catchy. In other words : pure melodic Nu Rock the way we love it !! The album was mastered by Jürgen Lusky (Vanden Plas, Pink Cream 69, Gotthard, Angra, Adagio and many others) and will probably be much appreciated by fans of Nickelback, Metallica (Load/Reload), etc. The second production is the MCD " Reconstructed " by Faster But Slower. This one is destined for fans of Stoner-type Rock and contains - among other great songs - a cover of Linda Perry's " Beautiful ". Last but not least, we have " Ghost Notes " by Last Men Standing. Mastering was performed at Eroc´s Mastering Ranch by the great Eroc himself (UFO, Sodom, The Traceelords...). This MCD gives you a serious whooping with some nice and fat Street Rock.

Methedras' new album, " The Worst Within ", will be released today in Italy through Andromeda. Although it won't be available before September in the other countries we supply in, all you curious people can already enjoy an audio preview on the band's official website. The promo campaign of this gorgeous digipack CD started with a large-scale operation : the massive distribution of a promotional sampler containing 3 songs of the new album and a multimedia selection. No less than 10.000 copies of this special promo were given away for free with the March edition of the Italian magazine Metal Maniac. Some of you might fear that Methedras is living it up big time, but with an album that good, it's hard not to believe in them !

As from now, Hardebaran has a distribution deal with the English company Code 7. Our new UK distributor will soon be taking care of all our productions, although, for the time being, the priority has been given to the distribution of Linear Sphere's album since the band urgently needed a good distributor in their home country. So much so because the UK magazine Powerplay highlighted the band through an interview and a track on the sampler the past couple of months. Thus, " Reality Dysfunction " will be officially released in the UK on May 8th. Code 7 is in turn distributed by the English distribution mogul Plastic Head. So we have taken another very important step forward !

Another batch just got pressed : " Requiem ". The first album by the Canadian band Liva will finally be officially available in Europe starting from April ! It is dedicated to all fans of Symphonic Metal and surpasses the competition effortlessly owing to the beautiful soprano vocals, the viola and the fact that all lyrics are written in Latin. There's even a live video track of the song " Tuba Mirum " on the album ; it's accompanied by a genuine symphonic orchestra. A must for all fans of Nightwish, Therion, Epica and the like.

" Sex, War & Prayers " is fresh from the press. The release of the Italian band Love Forsaken's album is due in April. It sure was a long wait, but we finally found a Death Metal album as dark as they come. Love Forsaken serves a mixture of refined melodies and aggression, on a bed of oppressive gloom. The atmosphere will stick to your skin during the entire album - as opposed to what we're used to from other records in the genre - and it might even carve itself deeply in your memory. To be enjoyed without measure… at least if you aren't afraid of claustrophobic situations !

After having been elected album of the month in the January edition of the French Rock Hard magazine, Linear Sphere's " Reality Dysfunction " will be in the spotlights in the March edition of the same magazine with a 2-page interview. Soon, an interview of the band will appear in issue 43 (2nd quarter 2006) of French Metallian magazine. A track of the album will also be present on the matching Metallian sampler. And for those who didn't know yet : the band recently welcomed a new member. Steve Woodcock will replace the band's bassist, who left shortly after the official release of the album. On top of bass, Steve also plays the Chapman stick and manages the band's myspace page. It's located at http://www.myspace.com/linearsphere and of course you can find some audio fragments of the album there.

Today we signed a distribution deal for Italy with Andromeda. We hope that this new collaboration will be as fruitful for Hardebaran as for the Italians, who seem to already have conquered an important part of their national market. They do indeed already distribute a couple of important Metal labels (like Peaceville among others).
...February 25th...

Disguise have updated their management contract with Hardebaran. Our new task will be to find a label that is interested in the band's new opus. It was recorded at the Alpha-Omega studios and is called " Late ". For those of a more curious nature, an audio fragment is available at http://www.myspace.com/disguisesite. The band will also be present at the famous Metal Camp, which will take place in July in Tolmin (Slovenia). You can find more info about the festival at http://www.metalcamp.com.

Great news : we just came back from Bertus' offices and they have accepted to distribute our entire catalogue. Hardebaran will help the giant of distribution in the Benelux with the placement of our albums in Belgium (namely with several record stores and mail orders) in order to optimize the visibility of our productions.
....January 18th...
Today we received the Maledicta albums in order to plan their release in April. " Eruption From Insides ", which should have been released by an American label, will eventually come out through Hardebaran. The album's look was entirely revisited and now totally befits the band's music. It's indeed very extreme and absolutely unconventional music we're dealing with; its dark, mysterious and bewitching atmospheres are combined with a lot of subtlety. The nine songs on this album have been crafted with intelligence and great technique … so much so that they're even scary at times. But they have one thing in common : their marvelous instrumentation. They will carry you to the most vicious depths of the human mind. An experience that shouldn't be missed for the world!
....January 12th...
In France, distribution will remain the task of Acropole Records. The only difference with respect to how things were is that, from now on, the collaboration between Hardebaran and Acropole will be direct and exclusive. The new releases that were supposed to be out late 2005-early 2006 will be delayed until March 10th for obvious reasons of logistics and promotion.
...January 11th...
The year certainly went off with a bang ! Indeed, our (worldwide) distributor Two Fat Men announced that he - mostly because of time shortage - was retiring from the business ! We are thus somewhat " orphaned " in the face of a market that doesn't care about much… and certainly not about the ones who lag behind. But since the Hardebaran team isn't the moping kind, we immediately got busy to start looking for new commercial partners to distribute our catalogue.
