Some consider K.A's music Thrash; others rather like to think they play Death Metal with Punk, Hardcore and many more consonances... Let's call it Brutal Metal for short. And it's really good stuff too! The French trio is indeed able to compose variegated and powerful songs without ever forgetting to use their guts in the process. Thus, it's with great pleasure that we welcome K.A in our midst. Our crew will from now on take care of promotion, booking and management for the band. We sincerely hope that all ears will be pricked up...

It's now official: Headline will open all the European dates (except the first one in London) for Symphony X in the frame of their upcoming "Odyssey Tour Europe 2003"! Details and dates are in our agenda section... Since a few weeks, "Duality" is being distributed by Point Music in Germany, Rock Inc/Bertus in the Benelux, Fusion 3 in Canada and very soon by Avispa in Spain. "Duality" will also come out in Brazil at Hellion Records and in Russia at CD Maximum. Of course the album is still available in double CD version with a bonus track, 2 videos and a photo gallery.

Some of you may have already heard of this astonishing Canadian band that mixes the power of Metal with the excellency of structures and sounds from classical music. Fused with an acoustic string section as well as with most efficient Opera vocals, Liva already secured their spot among the most original bands.

As from today, Hardaran will collaborate with Set The Tone for their booking. In the beginning of September we had the opportunity to make our Belgian friends perform with Cadaveres de Tortugas in Liège and the public looked really hooked… Soon at a theater near you !

Desire aren't the only ones to get officially distributed by Musicast in France, since both records from Cadaveres de Tortugas ("Salvo Karma" and "Incarnation") were also spotted by the Parisian distro company. Hardebaran will of course take care of the in-depth promotion of these fabulous discs in the Hexagon. A fat tour is also being prepared for the Spring of 2004. Get ready to face CDT live!

While our friends from Desire are getting ready to hit the road for a small European tour (from September 27 till October 4), Hardebaran is happy to announce that "Locus Horrendus", the latest opus of the Portuguese Doomsters, will be officially in the French stores thanks to Musicast, who knows to spot talent where it's hiding.

Breakpoint will enter the P'n'F studios late December to record their second album with John W. Jones (Fifty One's, Ice Cake…)! The album announces itself to be even more melodic, particularly on the level of vocals! Several labels have already expressed their interest… To be continued…

When a new style is created, it has to be christened. The French Tao Menizoo chose the denomination Polymorphic Metal for their brainchild. It's up to you to decide if this is enticing enough. Personally, we liked it a lot and proposed to help Tao Menizoo in the Benelux. Their promo and management is in our hands now and we plan to make you discover this band that's absolutely worth the detour.

The moniker Circe will from now on signify way more than just a character from Greek mythology, for a young French Dark Death band got hold of it. The band, which recently released a very successful MCD (signed on Kaly), decided to entrust us their promotion in the Benelux. We sincerely hope that this will also tempt the organizers to invite them to play in our neighborhood...

Carlo and his horde GF93 are undoubtedly among the emblematic figures of Italian Metal. Being on their toes for several years now, the band evolves in a modern and powerful style... Nu Metal indeed but not of the bogus kind!!! Signed on Copro and distributed worldwide by PHD, their latest album represents only the tip of the iceberg for GF93 has may surprises in store for us... After having been savagely forsaken by Jet Speed, the American label that was supposed to support them, the infernal Danish quartet Mindlock joined Hardebaran in search of gigs. Without the foreseen signature things could slow down a tad but organizers who know good Metal when they hear it will have no other option than to welcome the band in their venues... We are keeping our fingers crossed that their ears are nice and clean...

If we are to mention one band that really seduced us this year, it ought to be The Provenance. Now here's a "(partly) female fronted" Metal band that's really out of the ordinary. Fans of the latest Opeth will definitely find traces of their idols here, but don't you think that this band doesn't have a personality of its own... We don't really know much about the Hungarians... but what's certain is that these folks are usually very gifted for music. And Superbutt is the living proof of this! One foot in Nu Metal and the other in more "classical" Metal, these chameleons mix violence and passion with great subtlety. Hardebaran thus had very good reasons to become their booker for concerts in Belgium...

We got some bad news from Without Face: Julie and Roomy decided to leave the band to return to their native Hungary. We don't know the exact reasons of this split but what we do know is that the band isn't quitting yet. Replacements are being sought... If you're interested, seize the opportunity...

Nightward may not be the first Italian band we got struck by, but it's a fact that we weren't able to resist the frankness of the cut-edge rhythms and the power emanating from the compositions on their last independently released demo. From now on, all official contacts for this band will be managed by Hardebaran. If the labels don't play deaf, you might well hear some more of Nightward during months to come...

Some bands stagnate despite their obvious talent. That's almost inconceivable. Yet, you'd start to wonder when you listen to Desire's latest opus: how is this possible? That's why Hardebaran decided to aim their stakes on this sure (but well-hidden) value from Portugal. The agency will from now on be the official contact of the band for management, promotion and booking.

Varso is one of those bands you just can't fit into one single category. Is it Rock? Is it Metal? Good question... Fact is that their music is amazingly easy to listen to. It is original, even a little experimental on some parts, but you'll definitely love it! Now we're gonna help these killer Hungarian artists to tour in the Benelux, France, Italy and Germany.

We thought Belgium was slowly falling asleep but Set The Tone suddenly came and woke us up with their killer and tearing guitar riffs! As an ultra solid Metal/Hardcore combo, these guys are directly influenced by some big American bands like Pantera, Crowbar, Slayer and a couple more... For those of you, who never heard of the band, take note that Cadaveres De Tortugas belongs to the third category. No doubt about it... Mixing big grooves à la Sepultura with that unique feeling East-European musicians convey, our new protégés bring us modern and mature songs. Active since 1997, Tiat5 first started off playing Symphonic Death Metal but gradually, the keyboards were left behind in favor of a more Swedish sound. Today, you'll love their more direct approach, owing to the groovy, modern and energizing edge the new band added. Although the band already had many occasions to perform live in Italy, they're currently working on their promotion abroad. Live shows all over Europe are one of the short-term goals and Hardebaran will be their booker/promoter for this territory.

They're fast, they blast and they want it all. Coalition is a quartet of Death Metal addicts coming to you straight from the south of Belgium. They just released their first full length "Devil Revolution" and it seems that plenty of opportunities are already in store. From now on, Hardebaran will support them in their approach of media and labels, but also of venues and organizers, some of which already know them well. A couple of weeks ago, Hardebaran made the acquaintance of Dushan Petrossi (Magic Kingdom), guitarist/composer extraordinaire and the man behind Iron Mask. It's with immense pleasure that we announce that our agency will from now on take care of booking the European tour, which will be organized in a few months in order to present you Iron Mask's first full length, " Revenge Is My Name ". It is signed on the Finnish label Lion Music, which we all know for its guitar heroes in the progressive, symphonic and neo-classical department. You can see where we're getting at...

They're Italian and play Inner Death Hybrid... What on earth is that? Lifend, the band, like to thus define their style since it has a lot in common with Gothic Death/Black but is actually much more than that. Now that should stimulate your curiosity, shouldn't it? This is what you may expect at one of their live performances: music with dark, romantic and syncopated ambiances that is nevertheless quite kick-ass on the level of riffing, adorned with a multitude of different vocals (clean and guttural male vocals and some ethereal female ones as well). Quite a program indeed, and we'll make sure you get to see it with Lifend's european tour in August.

You won't soon forget about this band... Coming to us straight from Naples, these gentlemen indeed present us with extremely well arranged light Melodic Rock/Metal, crammed with hit potential. The excellent singer talks about existence in a heartfelt way and with a timbre that would melt the polar cap... and all in Italian. A bit of sunlight in the dark of night: insomnia guaranteed. You won't stop shaking that bootee with Metharia in the neighborhood. Prepare your Ray-Bans 'cause these guys will soon stop by on their European tour in the company of Hardebaran!

With the eight songs on their latest creation "Doorless", Impure showed us that several years of live experience pay off. The band's first full-length release made us discover a band that is fresh and mature at the same time. We were especially struck by the performance of the singer: this guy's got nothing to envy the singers evolving in big Emo-oriented bands. If you want to see some excellent Melodic Nu Metal from the south of Italy, be there! We'll make sure Impure gets to a couple of locations in the Benelux, France, Germany and Switzerland for you to choose from.

Hardebaran finally presents its first batch of Rock: Dr.Voy ! The Benelux and France will soon be able to have a more regular taste of their nice and authentic Rhythm and Blues-tainted Rock'n'Roll. Now here's a small homegrown band (from La Louvière) able to radically tear the house down; a skill they actually often demonstrated the past two years. Indeed, this is a live band above all and the guys will be thrilled to try their implacable therapy against depression and lack of energy on you!

Hardebaran management seems to have found the right keyboard player for Icy Winds. Dominique Djian was looking for a serious project that would offer something new to the Metal scene on a musical and vocal level and Icy Winds' compositions immediately seduced him. The band is happy now that the team is complete and is actively working on the completion of their debut album. New lead guitarist Yves is also doing fine and has proven to be the promising and dedicated musician we thought he was.
...January 13th...
Due to a very busy schedule, Stef Vanstaen has decided to leave Discard. As a bass player that is, since he'll still be taking care of business for the band in the frame Autumn Productions. Deinos (from Hypokras) was chosen to replace Stef on bass. The band is, of course, ready as always to blow your mind with their kick ass live performances!
