Blind Myself Biography Formed in 1995, the Hungarian metal-noise-rock band, Blind Myself represents a unique part of the European metal scene. The band's popularity grew quickly after its first EP and video, released by Crossroads Records. In November 1999, the first full-length album "Heaven't" was released on 1G Records (Warner Music). It was accompanied by the band's second video for the song "Kain". Since Zoli Teglas (Ignite) invited them to open Ignite's shows on their US tour that included 16 cities from San Francisco to Philadelphia and in order to capture a US following, Blind Myself relocated to New York City where they stayed for three years. They performed at legendary clubs, such as CBGB`s and Continental in New York and L`Amour in Brooklyn. During the 9 years of its existence, the band had the opportunity and dedication to present its music to innumerable crowds. For instance, supporting Slayer at the 2002 summer "Summer Rock Fest" festival in Budapest. The band performed in front of 3.000 people at its four live performances at the Sziget, the biggest summer fest in Europe. In July 2002, the band's third album "Product of Our Imagination" was published by 1GRecords. In January 2003, a compilation CD was released by McGathy Radio Promotion in North America. The band recently moved back to Hungary to record their latest album "Worst-Case Scenario" and to play on the biggest Hungarian Festivals, including the Sziget Festival again, where they performed for the fifth time. This time they played with Napalm Death on the metal stage. After five years Blind Myself parted ways with 1G Records. Today, Blind Myself has four albums and 4 videos out. "Worst-Case Scenario" is quickly becoming a bestseller album in Hungary reflecting a refined, very interesting musical universe accompanied by rich and intelligent lyrics. This uniquely honest and straightforward voice led Hungarian critics to praise Blind Myself above all as one of the most imaginative bands among the very tough competition of the Hungarian rock scene. Currently, the band has just canned their new video and the European distribution deal through Dutch label Two Fat Men has just been inked.The band is performing at festivals in Hungary during summer and will start an international European in the Fall.
